Contrary to popular belief, often during spiritual awakening our intuition temporarily gets worse, not better.
The Third Eye chakra in those who are spiritually awakening (or energy sensitive) is most often either highly overactive or completely closed as a result of the high frequency awakening energies surging through our main chakra system.
This is a problem, because an unbalanced Third Eye chakra prevents us from using our intuition and limits our psychic connections, distorting the information we get and blocking us from receiving the spiritual direction and wisdom we so badly need at this time.
Your third eye chakra requires immediate care if you feel like your intuitive guidance is inconsistent, inaccurate (despite feeling so convinced it is correct), hard to reach, or worse, completely blocked – but let’s delve a little deeper – here are the signs to look out for:
Signs Of An Underactive/ Closed Third Eye Chakra:
- Difficulty in decision making
- Intuition provides little to no guidance at all
- Feeling unsure of yourself, what you want, what to do next etc
- Feeling disconnected from Source or feeling that there is no spiritual help or support for you
- Feeling too 3D (the drudge of daily life, problems, obligations etc)
- Denial of reality (unable to accept the way things are)
- Closed-minded or rigid mindset
- Lack of self-awareness
Signs Of An Overactive Third Eye Chakra:
- Feeling overwhelmed and finding it difficult to focus
- Feeling attacked or negatively affected by the energy around you
- Prone to psychic fantasy & illusion
- Sleep disturbances (feeling too wired or alert to relax)
- Feeling bombarded by psychic or intuitive information
- Intuitive insights aren’t reliable, constantly change, or are frequently wrong (despite feeling so sure within)
- Spiritual life is making your everyday life challenging to cope with
- Perceiving too much – feeling overwhelmed by the volume of intuitive information
If you resonate with any of the signs above (you may even have aspects of both overactive and underactive which is common during awakening) don’t worry – it takes time, dedication and a high level of awareness to balance this chakra, but it’s soo worth it (plus we have a ‘set it and forget it’ shortcut for you – more on that in a moment!).
A balanced Third Eye chakra is the perfect spiritual environment to allow your intuition to grow stronger.
