Spirit Guides: 3 Reasons Why You’ve Been Unable To Connect So Far!

If you don’t connect to your spirit guides, then you’re always going to feel somewhere deep down inside that you’re ultimately on your own. You’ll never know the relief of trusting the Universe to show you the way out when you get lost or when you really don’t know what to do or where to go. You’ll never claim the support that is divinely and innately yours – a spiritual team that is on your side – ready and waiting to assist you in all areas of life – if only you will invoke them.
Let’s avoid that by skipping these big mistakes…
MISTAKE #1 – You don’t ask
Your spirit guides honour the law of free will, which means that they won’t intervene in your life without your full permission. They respect your life and your choices and only want to help where help is genuinely requested. With this in mind, begin calling out to your guides and granting them permission to assist you on a regular basis e.g ‘Spirit guides, please give me a sign if this is for my highest good, thank you.’ or ‘Spirit guides, please help me to speak clearly and from the heart in my communication, thank you.’ TIP: ALWAYS thank your guides – even if you are uncertain whether they will deliver. This sends out the energy to the Universe that you believe your requests will be answered without doubt and boosts your manifesting ability too!
MISTAKE #2 – You doubt them (even when they communicate in real time!)
We’ve all done it – including me. At times, my guides have pulled out all of the stops to get a message to me. Maybe it’s a billboard with a one word answer to your question, or repetitive number sequences on car registration plates minutes after you’ve asked them a question. It’s clear that they are answering, but still we cry, ‘please, give me an ANSWER!’ (They really are a patient bunch, aren’t they?) If you ask, you must pay attention and ACCEPT the answers when they arrive. It might not always be the way you thought they’d communicate, or indeed, the answer you specifically hoped for, but accept the answer when it shows up (and remember to say ‘thank you!’ when it does). TIP: When communicating with your guides, ask them to give you a sign three times in quick succession so that you can be certain of their answers – its AMAZING what they can do! MISTAKE #3 – You haven’t cleared your spiritual communication channels
Most people don’t realise it, but our spiritual communication pathways to our guides can become blocked by stressful emotions and negative energies (yours or other peoples too!) This can cause messages that are inaccurate, jumbled or just plain wrong. Your spiritual communication channel is like a telephone line to your guide – it can be fuzzy and keep cutting out or it can be crystal clear and you can fully hear the guidance and wisdom they have to share. The best way to clear these channels is with energy healing (don’t worry if you don’t know how, we’ve got a new meditation available to help you do just that!)
